After winning first place at SWEDU, recruiting a team of six, and successfully selling our beta product to eager customers, my co-founder and I secured funding from Kapor Capital, 500 Startups, and Imagine K12. Since its inception, I have led Tioki as COO and product evangelist, responsible for driving strategic partnerships, sales, and overall marketing strategy. I developed and executed all sales initiatives, and went on to amass the highest revenue of all team members. In addition to that, I formed partnerships with some of the most prestigious education organizations in the country, including Teach for America, The Broad Center, Wiley & Sons, and USC. I am comfortable representing a brand and have presented Tioki on stage at high-profile events at Facebook, AOL, and Microsoft. Over the past two years, Tioki has attracted educators from 28 different countries and has provided quality service to hundreds of schools across the country eager to secure great talent for their students.
